I so asked for that. Went for the ninja edit, you caught it too quick!

I like and have the monowiper, but I'll be first to admit it's kind of puny in the face of any really monsoony downpours.

See, I didn't catch it before the ninja edit, so I decided not to post the lemur from Madagascar with "who wipes?!" Because you'd pre-empted it, by that point.

It gives that impression, but I don't think it actually does.

Oh, well that's different.

I currently have three cars with simple parallel sweep, and one with the triple wiper.

I don't have a favorite, really.

Well, actually I do. Two of them I can buy blades anywhere, and can use pretty much anything. The other two (old British stuff) don't really have that many options, so I'm stuck with primitive tech.

I think the pantograph style wipers on buses are kind of mesmerizing.

There's the opposed non-overlapping wipers you see on transit buses:

And don't forget about rear wipers!

Fan of the opposed I had in my Focus. It gets the side edges all the way to the paint and makes sure nothing is in your view. The one part it doesn't do well is already covered by the rear view mirror.

I like the 1st gen GS300's wipers. You can retract them into the hood, very VERY cool!

The rotating wipers were forgotten. I took a picture of those in bus museum in Sweden around week ago. Too bad I don't have the picture of them with me. They looked like this.

The motor is mounted in the center of the windshield and the wiper just rotates around it. The motor has couple of support rods to hold it in place but the artist didn't draw them. They are probably the most view blocking wiper design but quite awesome.

Kinja'd!!!

And here's Colani's version with some Mercedes-Benz flavor. And yes, the truck is pretty ugly.

Kinja'd!!!

And then there is marine style version that doesn't have wipers but the windshield is rotating. These are usually used in marine stuff but I have seen one airport firetruck with such.

Huge fan of these, though I've never had a set.

I just think it's smart, I mean, you see more out of the top half of the windshield than the bottom don't you? (unless you're really short)

Monowiper is best wiper. Triple wipers is worst wipers. My car has the usual two wipers in parallel sweep. I embiggened my drivers side wiper to 24" from 22" and shortened my passenger wiper to 15" from 17".

I wanted to see if it made a difference. I think it has improved the wiping experience, but this could be the fact I have new wipers lol.

yeah I like the eccentric monowiper on the benzes pretty good. I wonder if triple wiper sucks so much because it is always hooked up to something from Lucas...
